NATURSHIFT project seeks to transform the way we address climate change challenges in coastal areas by developing advanced tools to implement Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for coastal protection and resilience. These solutions leverage coastal ecosystems to protect the coast from flooding and erosion, while generating additional benefits associated to a wide range of ecosystem services, such as soil conservation, water quality improvement and climate change mitigation.
Candidate profile: the candidate sought will have a MSc degree and be keen to research, innovate, and contribute to the application of NbS as coastal protection measures. The candidate will join a young, dynamic, competitive, and international team at a leading research center that’s always growing.
